Instructions
  1. Place eggs into a pan in a single layer. Fill the pan with cold water 1 inch above the tops of the eggs.
  2. Place over a medium-high heat with no lid. Let the water come to a boil and continue boiling for 1 minute. Turn the heat off. Remove the pan from the heat source and cover. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  3. Immediately, drain off the hot water and rinse with cold water to immediately cool the eggs.
  4. For easy peeling, use older eggs.
